The fuse is composed of a melt tube, a porcelain sleeve, a fastening flange, a rod-shaped post insulator and an end cap. The terminal caps and melt pipes at both ends are fixed in the porcelain sleeve by the method of press-fitting, and then the porcelain sleeve is fixed on the rod-shaped pillar insulator with fastening flange, and its structural description and external dimensions are shown in the left figure.

Product Overview

The fuse is composed of a melt tube, a porcelain sleeve, a fastening flange, a rod-shaped post insulator and an end cap. The terminal caps and melt pipes at both ends are fixed in the porcelain sleeve by the method of press-fitting, and then the porcelain sleeve is fixed on the rod-shaped pillar insulator with fastening flange, and its structural description and external dimensions are shown in the left figure.

The melt tube uses raw materials with high silicon oxide content as the arc extinguishing medium, and small diameter metal wires are used as fuses. When the overload current or short-circuit current passes through the melt tube, the fuse is blown immediately, the arc occurs in several narrow slits connected in parallel, and the metal vapor in the arc penetrates into the quartz sand, is strongly dissociated, and quickly extinguishes the arc, so this fuse has good performance and large breaking capacity.

The high-voltage fuse is suitable for short circuit and overload protection furnace between transmission lines and power transformers, and is a simple electrical appliance to protect power equipment from damage.


Normal Use Environment

◆ The high-voltage fuse is suitable for the altitude of 1000m;

◆ The ambient temperature is not higher than +40°C and not lower than -40°C.

◆ It is not suitable for places with burning, explosion hazards, severe vibration, swing impact and heavy pollution areas.


Main Technical Parameters:

◆ The fuse is allowed to be installed horizontally or vertically;

◆ When the data of the melt pipe is inconsistent with the voltage and rated current of the line, it shall not be connected to the line for use;

◆ After the melt pipe is blown off, the user can disassemble the terminal cap and replace the melt pipe with the same specifications and performance requirements.
